I made an original wishlist back in March…but as we’re still non the wiser on any projects Jonas Armstrong might be working on in the next couple of months, was thinking on doing  another list; since lots of new series have been announced without the full cast-list yet revealed ;)

  • Sherlock series 3: Benedict Cumberbatch Martin Freeman Jonas Armstrong…need I say more? Would be just amazing if Jonas got cast in any of the next three films they’ll be working on!
  • Dracula: brand new adaptation of the original story with Jonathan Rhys Meyers playing the title role. Very much looking forward to this one, proper vampire stuff and not a twilight sparkle in sight ;) All the other roles have yet to be cast or announced, so really fingers crossed as I think Jonas could be great as Van Helsing or even as a vampire. We all know he can rock the moody, brooding, angry thing like no other lol.
  • Broadchurch: new ITV 8-part drama with David Tennant among a very talented cast! Not everyone has been announced yet…so who knows maybe a guest role in one of the episodes?
  • Line of Duty series 2: Would be rather nice to see Jonas back in a Ghost Squad type role. Gritty police drama at its very best!
  • Peaky Blinders: new historical  6-part drama for BBC 2 about a gangster family back in 1919. The concept sounds like the Delaney Family are a bit like the Sopranos! Lots of cousins and brothers to be cast ;p
  • Wolf Hall: The Story of Thomas Cromwell and his rise to power.Commissioned by the BBC. I read the book and it would be fantastic to see Jonas in a historical period drama set in Tudor times!
  • A comedy!! Still rooting for Jonas to step into the comedy genre, or something more light-hearted… shame the awesome Twenty Twelve is over as I think Jonas would be ace doing satire =D
  • A US prime-time show or a guest role in any of the following: Homeland, The Good Wife, Covert Affairs, Once Upon a Time, Bones, Boardwalk Empire, The Borgias series 3, Game of Thrones, Revenge,…  I know I know but it’s a wishlist :D

Let’s keep our fingers crossed something will be announced soon, in terms of new projects for 2013!
